Aircraft hire is charged per tacho hour. Instructor time is charged chock to chock. Fees and course content are subject to change.

Training and check flights

From £212/hr

Warrior hire from £170 per tacho hour plus £42 instructor time per chock-to-chock hour. Temporary membership may also apply.

The three PPL modules cover the minimum 45-hour flying requirement and may be suitable for eligible ELCAS claims. Most students should budget for additional flying, tests, medical, equipment and external landing fees.

Revalidation, renewal and club currency

The route depends on rating validity, recent experience and current CAA requirements.

Licensed pilots complete an LFC check flight before acting as pilot in command
Club currency limits normally vary between 45 and 90 days according to experience
A check flight restores club currency when the applicable limit is exceeded
Revalidation by experience, proficiency checks and renewal routes are different processes
Bring your licence, medical and logbook so the training team can confirm the correct route
