Aircraft hire is charged per tacho hour. Instructor time is charged chock to chock. Fees and course content are subject to change.

PPL ground examinations

£270 indicative

The current membership guide uses £270 as the overall PPL ground-examination budget. Module packages include the stated number of exams.

The three PPL modules cover the minimum 45-hour flying requirement and may be suitable for eligible ELCAS claims. Most students should budget for additional flying, tests, medical, equipment and external landing fees.

Sitting exams at LFC

Eligible PPL and IMC Rating theoretical knowledge examinations can be arranged through the club.

Discuss required papers and readiness with your instructor
Examinations are taken under the applicable CAA process and invigilated at the club

Current individual paper and re-sit charges should be confirmed before booking
